IT sector provides IT services to the Government and General Secretariat:
• Establishes, harmonises and develops Government’s IT system;
• Plans, harmonises and implements strategies of e-Governmebt;
• Develops draft provisions and general acts in the field of informational technology and Internet and takes measures to implement them (e-Legislation);
• Develops strategies and defines IT standards which are used by the Government; develops and maintains the central IT network and services based on the centralized services of the IT system;
• Keeps central register of IT equipment and Government’s software;
• Coordinates planning, development and maintenance of the web portal and all Internet presentations in the Government;
• Plans, implements and develops the Document Management System;
• Coordinates the procurement of all relevant IT equipment and services, including contracts on the maintenance and the software;
• Coordinates IT training of all employees in the General Secretariat and all participants of the electronic Government sessions;
• Provides technical support to the electronic Government sessions (e-Board).
