Secretariat General

Secretariat General of the Government provides assistance to the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the Prime Minister in terms of timely and effective planning, implementation, supervision and presentation of the Government policies.
Secretariat General is in charge of joint services and provides for other activities needed for the purpose of efficient performance of functions of the public administration bodies.
Secretariat General is in charge of drafting of the proposals for passing of decisions by the Government in accordance with operational plans of the Government and Government Secretariat, priorities of the Prime Minister and proposals submitted by ministries.
Secretariat General performs duties in the domain as determined by the Law on Government of the Republic of Srpska and Operating Procedure of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

Secretariat General of the Government of the Republic of Srpska consists of following basic organizational units:

• Office of the Prime Minister
• Sector for Government sessions
• Sector for financial, legal and general affairs
• Public Relations Bureau
• Sector for IT
