Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo
Minić spoke today with representatives of the Association of Surgeons
of the Republic of Srpska and the Association of Endoscopic Surgeons of Serbia in a meeting held in Banja Luka.
They spoke about the healthcare sector in
the Republic of Srpska, the work of the association and holding of the advanced training seminar in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, which is being held in Banja Luka and will be attended by medical professionals from
all healthcare institutions in the Republic of Srpska.
Prime Minister Minić emphasized that the Republic of Srpska had a high level of healthcare services that could meet all the
requirements of citizens. He praised the holding of a two-day seminar where
medical experts will be able to exchange their professional experiences and stressed
that he was particularly pleased that they chose to hold the first such event in Banja Luka.
Prime Minister Minić said that the Association of
Surgeons will have the support of the Government and the relevant ministry.
President of the Association of Surgeons of Republic of Srpska Zoran Aleksić thanked Prime Minister Minić for the reception and pointed out that patients in Republic of Srpska had the most modern surgical standards curently available.
President of the Association of Endoscopic Surgeons of
Serbia Miljan Ćeranic said that experienced experts from several fields will
participate in the course and will have the opportunity to transfer
knowledge and experience.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Health and
Social Welfare of the Republic of Srpska Alen Šeranić.
