The Republic of Srpska and Serbia will renovate the former narrow gauge railway line Višegrad - Varadište - Mokra Gora, with the aim of improving the tourist offer of this region was agreed at today's meeting of two Prime Ministers, Savo Minić and Đuro Macut.

Therefore, the Prime Ministers signed today a protocol on the formation of a working group for implementation of this project, which will contribute to even stronger connection between Republic of Srpska and Serbia.

"In this way, Višegrad and this entire region will get very attractive tourist content", Prime Minister Minić said and added that they have also considered  implementation of other joint projects.

Prime Minister Minić said that the project for construction of the Banja Luka-Belgrade highway was in particular focus since it had historical importance for the Serbian people and also expressed hope that obstacles in implementation of the joint projects for construction of the Buk Bijela hydroelectric power plant and the Trebinje airport would be overcome.

The signing of today's protocol was also attended by the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Srpska Zoran Stevanović and the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, Aleksandra Sofronijević.
