Prime Minister Minić speaks with the US Special Envoy for Global Partnership Paolo Zampolli, document with many projects will be presented in the US

Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić spoke today in Banja Luka with the US Special Envoy for Global Partnership Paolo Zampolli.

Prime Minister Minić thanked the US Special Envoy for Global Cooperation for coming to Republic of Srpska, emphasizing that he was an extremely important and influential diplomat in many spheres of society.

"During the conversation, we conveyed a clear message that Republic of Srpska wants to live in peace and has no intention of endangering its institutions, but wants to function within the framework of the Dayton Peace Agreement", Prime Minister Minić said.

The Prime Minister went on to say that Republic of Srpska was not a factor of instability, that it did not seek secession, but wanted full respect for the original Dayton Agreement as the foundation of peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Prime Minister elaborated that the energy projects Trebinje 1, 2 and 3, Zupci and hydroelectric power plants such as Buk Bijela were discussed, as well as financing methods when it comes to energy from renewable sources, as well as other projects.

"These are the projects that our officials negotiated during their recent visit in America", Prime Minister Minić said.

He emphasized that this was one of most fair meetings he had with foreign diplomats discussing possibility of cooperation with the Republic of Srpska.

"I am grateful to Mr. Zampolli for very fair and open meeting. We agreed to be in constant communication from next week on in order to receive feedback and work together on these projects", Prime Minister Minić said.

US Special Envoy for Global Partnership Paolo Zampolli said that the Prime Minister gave him a very important document with numerous projects, which he would submit to various agencies and sectors within the US administration.

"For my part, I can promise that I will deliver this document, which will be presented there, to all possible addresses", Mr. Zampolli said and thanked Prime Minister Minić for the warm welcome.
