Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Savo Minić spoke today in Banja Luka with the Mayor of Banja Luka Draško Stanivuković about implementation of various projects important for the citizens of Banja Luka.

Prime Minister Minić emphasized that meeting with the Mayor of Banja Luka was productive and that the works on the bridge over the Vrbas River in the Banja Luka settlement of Česma would be over very soon. 

"This project and other similar projects are important because of the real needs of the largest city in Republic of Srpska. Therefore, with such meetings where the public interest is at stake, we show our readiness to implement serious public projects, such as the bridge in Česma, which we built together", Prime Minister Minić stated after the meeting.

He stressed that other important infrastructure problems in Banja Luka will also be resolved and that one of the goals was to improve traffic flow.

"We will also work together in connection with the construction of a science and technology park so that citizens understand that the Government of Republic of Srpska and local authorities are rising above daily politics, working on important projects for them," said Prime Minister Minić and announced that government representatives will soon hold another meeting with the Banja Luka City Administration to show citizens everything that is being done and implemented.

Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska Zoran Stevanović specified that it is expected that the bridge in Česma settlement will be put into use by March 20th and will benefit all citizens.

"We have resolved all property issues related to this bridge and the work is close to its completion", Minister Stevanović said and added that the  Government of Republic of Srpska will resolve all necessary property and other issues for construction of the bridge in Dolac.

Mayor of Banja Luka Draško Stanivuković said that the meeting with representatives of the Government of Republika Srpska was productive with regard to development of the city of Banja Luka. 

"The bridge in Česma should be completed in 15, 20 days. We are moving forward with joint efforts. The bridge in Dolac will be the largest and longest that Banja Luka has built. Objectively, we can start to work on it during the summer, which would completely change the looks of the City", the Mayor of Banja Luka said.
