"At the next session, which will be held on Friday, the Government will propose a method for returning a part of the excise tax on fuel, namely 10 percent for the economy and 20 percent for citizens, which would be five million BAM of direct aid on a monthly basis, Prime Minister Minić said at a press conference in Banja Luka.

He added that the Government will find a model for implementing this decision in order to help citizens and the economy in Republic of Srpska and added that the Government was monitoring global developments on a daily basis and that returning a part of the excise tax represented significant assistance to the citizens of Republic of Srpska.

The Prime Minister emphasized that no disruptions are expected when it comes to supply in the coming period and announced that representatives of the transporting companies have scheduled a meeting with all the relevant stakeholders for resolving their problem on Wednesday in Gradiška.

“The Republic of Srpska stands with the transporters and our representatives will attend the meeting, wherever it is scheduled. I want to say that just as we are determined to help make a decision that would solve their problems, we are determined to keep all border crossings open so that the system can function”, the Prime Minister Minić concluded.
