"The Constitutional Court of BiH is not
competent to discuss the constitutionality of the Government of Republic of Srpska, today's decision is political", stated Prime Minister of Republic
of Srpska Savo Minić and emphasized that the Republic of Srpska had a functioning
Government and institutions and that citizens have no reason to worry.
"The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and
Herzegovina was not competent to decide in this procedure. It went beyond the
limits of constitutionality, legality and even the Constitution to which it
refers. Especially when it comes to the decisions of the Government of Republic
of Srpska. They have not been questioned in any way and cannot be questioned.
So all those who are worried have no reason to worry, and all those who are
happy are happy in vain because as we could see in the explanation, the
decisions of the Government of Republic of Srpska were not considered at
all", Prime Minister Minić said.
Prime Minister Minić once again stressed that there was
absolutely no reason to be concerned about the functioning of the Government of
Republic of Srpska, neither in the previous nor in this period.
"The Republic of Srpska operates in full capacity
with all valid decisions. Let us move on and ignore some things which are only attempted to cause nervousness and unrest among the citizens, but they will not
succeed in this", Prime Minister Minić said and emphasized that it was up to the actions of international officials, i.e. foreigners, aspiring
to complete this process.
"In the sense that they decide who is who. That
the Central Election Commission can do everything, that the Constitutional
Court of BiH is someone who can treat the Republic of Srpska in this way. This is nonsense in law,
going beyond the powers and limits, especially of such incomplete Court, but it
has nothing to do and cannot influence the decisions of the Government of Republic
of Srpska", the Prime Minister underlined.
