Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić was presented with the Charter of the Municipality of Sokolac, on
the occasion of the Patron Saint Day of the Municipality - the Holy Prophet
Elijah, as a special recognition for his work and activities that are of great importance
for the Municipality of Sokolac.
Prime Minister Minić said that for him the Charter of
the Municipality of Sokolac that was presented to him was also as a recognition of the
Government and institutions of the Republic of Srpska which results are visible through infrastructure projects, investments
and creation of better living conditions for all citizens.
"When we build roads, we build connections, we
build so that investors come to us, and those who have left. When we build a
kindergarten, we build the future, and when we build around the Novi Zejtinlik
military cemetery, we build memory," Prime Minister Minić stated to the media adding that this was a part of a large project in Republic of Srpska, and no
individual should be singled out.
The Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska emphasized that
the eastern part of the Republic, including Sokolac, deserves continuous
investments in order to become ever better place to live.
"The most important thing is that we have
investments", Prime Minister Minić said stressing that a large investment
cycle was underway in Republika Srpska which was yielding concrete results. That includes higher employment, 1,390 more people
are employed than last year, higher public revenue collection and lower inflation.
"These are the data that cannot be concealed. We want development and want Sokolac to be part of that development
and for the Republic of Srpska with all our municipalities to look better and
more beautiful", Prime Minister Minić said thanking the citizens of Sokolac for the
recognition, stating that it obliges him to work further on implementation of new development
projects.
