Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Savo Minić and highest officials of the Republic opened today a newly built
roundabout in Pale, in construction of which nearly one million BAM was
invested.
Prime Minister Minić emphasized that this was a part of large investment cycle in the Republic of Srpska which amounts to around seven billion BAM and announced a series of new infrastructure projects in the area of this
local community and the wider area of East Sarajevo.
"At the next government session, we will make a
decision to allocate 2.4 million BAM for new projects, based on the previous
agreement with the Mayor of Pale, and the remaining part of the projects agreed will be discussed at one of next Government sessions", Prime Minister said and added that a tender for construction of a new roundabout near the Bartula
shopping center will be issued next week.
The Prime Minister also said that the newly built roundabout in Pale, built
on the corner of Karađorđeva and Nikola Tesla Streets, was part of a major
renovation of roads in Republic of Srpska, which envisages rehabilitation of
300 kilometers of regional and main roads, including construction of eight
new roundabouts, which are currently being built at various locations.
