Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić and the Acting Director of the "Orao" Company, Marko Mrkajić, today officially opened a renovated facility for jet
engine overhauls located in Bijeljina.
Prime Minister Minić highlighted that "Orao" Company was an industrial giant which was continuously expanding its scope of business, noting
that 95 percent of its contracts were export operations.
He emphasized that increasing salaries was priority and that the Government would get involved in resolving this issue, not
only through incentives but also by establishing special funds
for the business sector.
"We must work on raising salaries, and as of the beginning of the next
year, once the new Government of Republika Srpska is formed, we will establish
special funds for healthcare, business and other sectors. The goal is to expediate the procedures so that companies do not have to wait a year to meet conditions
when accessing incentive funds", Prime Minister Minić said.
The Prime Minister underlined that even stronger
investment cycle was expected next year, which encompasses not only infrastructure
but also the business and economy sector.
