Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Savo Minić met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Li Fan.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Minić highlighted successful cooperation between China and Republic of Srpska up to-date and pointed out that the Republic of Srpska was actively cooperating with Chinese partners in numerous areas, especially in development of infrastructure and energy.

Prime Minister said that there was space for expanding cooperation, especially when it comes to agriculture but that it was necessary to create the prerequisites for this by signing an agreement between BiH and China in the field of trade in agricultural products.

Prime Minister Minić informed the Ambassador Li Fan that Republic of Srpska was expecting a major investment boost in the development of road infrastructure, energy and agriculture during the cuurent year. 

Ms. Fan expressed satisfaction with successful cooperation with Republic of Srpska in numerous areas and emphasized that there were opportunities for new joint projects, especially in energy and agriculture.
