Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić met in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of Japan to BiH, Mr. Aiki Toshihiro.

In open and cordial conversation, Prime Minister Minić thanked the Japanese Ambassador for the selfless support of his country in the post-war reconstruction of the country, especially during the catastrophic floods in 2014.

Prime Minister Minić conveyed the readiness of the Republic of Srpska to deepen existing ties with Japan in all areas and offered his support to every new cooperation project betwen the two countries.

With regard to domestic circumstances, Prime Minister Minić indicated that the Government of Republic of Srpska was open to development of internal political dialogue within BiH.

Ambassador Aiki emphasized that Japan would continue its dedicated work on developing relations with BiH in all areas, with a special focus on the sectors of economy, health, education and environmental protection.
