Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić received today the Ambassador of the State of Israel Galit Peleg for a farewell
visit.
Prime Minister Minić thanked Ambassador Peleg for her
dedicated commitment to maintaining close ties between Israel and the Republic
of Srpska emphasizing that today's ceremonial opening of the Israeli Chamber of
Commerce in Banja Luka which will be attended by high-ranking Israeli officials represented
the crowning achievement of those efforts.
“By opening the Chamber of Commerce, we are turning a
new chapter in our relations, in hope that this will give a strong incentive to
development of more intensive economic cooperation to mutual benefit”,
Prime Minister Minić stressed.
During the meeting, Ambassador Peleg also commended launching of the Israeli business representative
office which was seen as as a sign of expressing confidence in the
business climate in Republic of Srpska and an invitation for Israeli investors.
The Ambassador indicated that the State of Israel had
deep appreciation for the Republic of Srpska and that she hoped that these close
relations will be demonstrated through more intensive economic cooperation in
the future.
