Објављено:

Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić visited the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development Banja Luka in Manjača, where he spoke with the Center's management about the results achieved so far, development of agricultural production and plans for the coming period.

After the tour, Prime Minister Minić stressed that he was satisfied with what he saw, especially with regard to the progress in livestock breeding and  beekeeping, and the way the Center was managed.

Prime Minister Minić praised the results of the Center and the overall way of managing and administering and pointed to the possibilities of further development and connecting agriculture with tourism.

One of the most important next steps, as Prime Minister underlined, will be the procurement of equipment for the cheese factory, in order to enable the Center to have its own final products and place it on the market, such as through the chain of "Krajiška kuća" stores.

Prime Minister Minić announced that the Government of the Republic of Srpska, through the relevant ministry, will provide around BAM 200,000 for these purposes.

"These are the funds that will enable us to immediately start purchasing equipment, so that we can have a complete process and finished products here",  Prime Minister Savo Minić said.

He also praised the condition of the facilities of the Center emphasizing that the Center has the potential to be the educational place for agricultural producers in the full sense so that the farmers can come here and see practical examples of how they can engage in various types of agricultural production - from dairy farming and beekeeping to crop farming.

During the visit, the interlocutors spoke about the projects which the Center has applied to the Government of the Republic of Srpska including the project sent to the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, which Prime Minister Minić announced would be approved.

The Prime Minister said that the support to the Center in the coming period must be even stronger, especially considering the people who are ready to work and develop new ideas.

“The support must be even stronger and more powerful. Here we have people who are ready to work and they must be awarded for their work, both through development of the final products and through further assistance to this educational center”, Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Savo Minić said.
