Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Savo Minić, attended today in Šekovići an official ceremony held on the occasion of celebrating the Day of the Municipality and the Patron Saint Day of the Municipality marked on the Day of the Assumption of Mary, the Mother of God. 

Prime Minister Minić stated that Šekovići had a good perspective and that it would be included in the investment cycle of the Government adding that  numerous projects were already being implemented in this municipality.

"Šekovići is currently a construction site where the works on Drinjača riverbed are going on, where water supply system is extended and other investments made. Everything that was stated in the Programme of the Government, which was once a promise, is now being implemented", Prime Minister Minić said while receiving the Municipal Charter for his special contribution to the development of this local community.

The Prime Minister extended his congratulations to the citizens of Šekovići on the occasion of the Municipality Day and said that during his visit he spoke with people, former soldiers, hunters and farmers in order to learn firsthand about their problems and needs.

"Šekovići is a part of the Republic of Srpska, and deserves attention. Every part of the Republic of Srpska shall be included in the projects and this is what the Government of Republic of Srpska is doing in this large investment cycle", Prime Minister Minić said and particularly emphasized the measures for the return of people to Šekovići what was the future of this local community.

"The data that we have regarding the employment numbers, GDP and all real economic indicators, show that the Republic of Srpska is going in the right direction and will certainly be a good place to live", Prime Minister Minić concluded.
