Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić attended today the official ceremony marking the completion of the rehabilitation of the Srbac-Derventa road, in the length of almost 42 kilometers.
"The Republic of Srpska is currently a large
construction site", Prime Minister Minić said and emphasized that 400
kilometers of roads are currently under construction in Republic of Srpska.
He stated that rehabilitation of the road from Srbac
to Derventa was an investment worth 30 million BAM, and that the Government of
Republic of Srpska has enabled implementation of large projects like this
through system legal solutions.
"Just a few years ago, someone would have said these were just `dreams`. However, these dreams are now coming true. There is not a
day that goes by without something happening in Republic of Srpska. Not only is
it visible on the roads and in buildings, but also in our families, veterans, children, among all groups of society that every day
show that we are stronger, more serious, and that we think more about every
citizen of Republic of Srpska" Prime Minister Minić emphasized.
He said that Republic of Srpska is in big investment
cycle which is a source of pride for all of us and that we have the right to rejoice in every single one of our successes."
In attenandance of the meeting were also President Milorad Dodik, Serb Member of BiH Presidency Željka
Cvijanović, Minister of Finance Zora Vidović, Acting Director of Roads of Republic of Srpska Public Enterprise Miroslav Janković, Mayor of Srbac Mlađan Dragosavljević, and other
representatives of the municipalities of Srbac and Derventa.
