Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić
visited today the 12th Gastro Fair which took place in Brod and on this occasion stated that such events were a sign of rich tradition and importantance to
preserve it and pass it on to new generations.
Prime Minister Minić said that the Municipality of
Brod was in big development expansion and that the Government of the
Republic of Srpska would continue to provide support to development projects of
interest to the residents of this local community.
"The Government of the Republic of Srpska, this
year alone, has allocated BAM 6.5 million for the development of the
Municipality of Brod and will continue its investments in the coming
period", Prime Minister Minić said and added that the funds were invested in the city
square, the collector network, the reconstruction of kindergartens and road
infrastructure.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Brod would soon have the first
functional duty-free zone in Republic of Srpska.
"Brod has taken many steps forward. I would like
to commend Mayor Milan Zečević. You can feel the extremely agile work on the
ground", Prime Minister Minić said and stressed once more that events such as Gastro Fair show good spirit, and traditionally gather a large number of participants which this year is around 100 participants and exhibitors.
