"All decisions of the Republic of Srpska, and I
speak on behalf of the Government of Republic of Srpska, are legal and
legitimate", Prime Minister Savo Minić stated today in Banja Luka, after the President of the Republic of Srpska Sinisa Karan put forward his nomination as a prime minister-designate for the formation of the new Government
of the Republic of Srpska.
Minić said that no decision has been disputed, and
that the leadership of the Republika Srpska was making thoughtful and mature
decisions.
He stated that they do not want to pursuade the political elite in Sarajevo that the decisions of the Republic of Srpska were
legal and legitimate.
"We just want to be as productive as
possible and shall not pause for a moment", Minić emphasized and added that regardless of his resignation, the Government was functioning and fulfilling its obligations.
He said that it was an honor for him to be the Prime
Minister-designate and expressed gratitude to the people and members of
the coalition for his nomination.
According to him, this was a mature political decision intended to stabilize situation and eliminate every single problem that existed.
