"We can be proud that such a Conference is being held in Republic of Srpska", stated Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Savo Minić at the opening of the 4th International Conference on Crafts and Entrepreneurship of Republic of Srpska in Laktaši.

Prime Minister Minić said on this occasion that the Government provided support to more than 254 entrepreneurs last year and would continue to offer support this year as well.

"We should take into consideration that there are about 27,000 entrepreneurial businesses in the Republic which employ around 50,000 workers, and we will continue to support it in 2026", the Prime Minister said and added that entrepreneurs are the basis for maintaining employment in Republic of Srpska.

The Prime Minsiter emphasized that more than 34 percent of entrepreneurial businesses are led by women, adding that the Government will pay special attention to this and stressed that no decrease in entrepreneurial activity has been recorded in Republic of Srpska.

"I am confident that this Conference will generate very good conclusions and propose measures, and the Government is here to help and be the service to help this sector", Prime Minister said. 

More than three hundred entrepreneurs from the country and the region are participating in the Conference.
