Prime Minister of
the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić spoke today in Banja Luka with the
Ambassador of the Republic of France, François Delmas.
During the meeting, Prime
Minister Minić expressed his unequivocal support for the European integration
process, emphasizing, at the same time, that the current stagnation of this
process can largely bw attributed to the insufficient level of internal
dialogue within BiH.
Prime Minister said that the
majority of foreign investors in the Republic of Srpska come from European
Union countries who are drawn here by favorable business environment and also underlined that additional work is needed to attract investors from France as
one of strongest European economies.
On the other hand,
Ambassador Delmas announced that French Development Agency (AFD) will soon
begin operating in BiH, with numerous programs aimed at assisting various
sectors, with particular attention to the area of water resources and agriculture support.
Prime Minister Minić
welcomed the announcement of the arrival of the French development agency,
emphasizing that the Government of Republic of Srpska will be a reliable partner
in development of these programs.
