Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Savo Minić
attended today the ceremony marking the Day of the Municipality of Šamac and on this occasion said
that the Government would provide further support for development projects in
this municipality.
Addressing the audience at the ceremonial session of Šamac
Municipal Assembly, Prime Minister Minić said that the main goal was to create
better living conditions for all citizens of the municipality through joint
work and cooperation.
"I believe that we will make Šamac better and
more beautiful for the benefit of all its citizens, but also for the Republic of
Srpska, so that every local community can be the pride of its residents", Prime
Minister Minić said.
During the meeting with the Mayor of Šamac they spoke about defining priority projects important for the development of Šamac and emphasized that
several initiatives that will contribute to the improvement of the local
community have been agreed upon.
"I am glad that today I was able to hear many
things in terms of the functioning of the local parliament, as well as those
things that are positive for the lives of citizens. We talked about the
projects that we are implementing in the city, and working on
everything that is within our jurisdiction. I am glad that activities are being done to open new jobs and hope that a business zone will be
established soon. The Government of the Republic of Srpska has managed to
secure 15 jobs with a private company", Prime Minister said.
He pointed out that in the past four years, BAM 37.7
million had been paid to the municipality of Šamac on various grounds on behalf of the Government of Republic of Srpska.
"This is significant support, which is visible to
the citizens. We will continue cooperation with the municipality and support
everything that is beneficial for the citizens of Šamac", Minić said and
extended his best wishes to all citizens on the occasion of the Municipality
Day.
Prior to the central ceremony, Prime Minister Minić laid
a wreath at the Central Monument to the Fallen Soldiers and Civilian Victims of
the Republic of Srpska Patriotic War on the city square.
