The Association of Patriots of Republic of Srpska was established in Banja Luka today and the Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Savo Minić attended the founding assembly.

Prime Minister Minić expressed his satisfaction that the idea of ​​establishing the Association was born, which should bring forth the most important things when it comes to everything that represents our history in terms of the Patriotic War and the organizations that emerged from it.

"What makes me happy is that the Association will function in such a way that each one of our smaller communities and organizations that emerged from the war will be able to provide ideas, proposals and solutions, everything that we need to include as an important segment in our national identity", Prime Minister Minić pointed out.

Slobodan Župljanin was elected president of the Association of Patriots of Republic of Srpska. He said that the goal of this organization was to preserve values ​​that are important for Republic of Srpska through joint actions of several associations and representatives of the academic community having  added that anyone who feels like a patriot can join the Association.
