The 14th Science Festival opened today at the University
of Banja Luka Campus, bringing together a large number of students, teachers
and participants from various educational and scientific institutions where visitors can expect more than 100 experiments, scientific demonstrations and
workshops.
The opening of the festival was attended by the Prime
Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić who said that the goal of the
festival was to bring practical knowledge, experiments and modern scientific
trends closer to elementary and high school students so that they themselves
feel that they are becoming part of the scientific world.
Prime Minister Minić pointed out that the Government of the Republic of
Srpska was investing BAM 3.5 million in the Campus and infrastructure, and that
the construction of a science and technology park was planned, which should
become a center of science and education in the next two years.
