Minister of Justice: Goran Selak

Biography:

Goran Selak, born on November 26, 1983 in Rijeka. Lives in Banja Luka. Served his military service in the Army of Republika Srpska. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management, University of Economics Academy in Novi Sad. Doctorate from the Faculty of Law for Economics and Judiciary, University of Economics Academy in Novi Sad.

Graduated from the Higher Studies in Security and Defense of the National Defense School of the University of Defense of the Republic of Serbia in 2024. On the occasion of the successful completion of the Higher Studies in Security and Defense, he received a medieval sword from the President of the Republic of Serbia.

Employed in the Ministry of Justice of the Republika Srpska since 2005, where he held several managerial positions for 19 years, including the positions of Assistant Director for Economic and Instructional Affairs, Deputy Director and Director of the Banja Luka Penitentiary for 5 years. Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska in the tenth convocation, during which he served as Deputy Chairman of the Security Committee. Twice elected as a councilor in the Banja Luka City Assembly.

He is married and has three children.
