Government of the Republika Srpska adopted the Proposal for the Public Investment Program for the period 2026-2028. The act contains projects that are being implemented, as well as those whose implementation will only begin in the specified period and which were nominated in such a way that the proposer ranked the seven highest priority projects.

The ministries and institutions have included a total of 184 projects, of which 94 projects are in implementation and 90 candidate projects (ranked to the seven highest priorities) in the amount of 8.6 billion BAM.

At the same time, municipalities and cities have included 403 projects in this document via electronic records, of which 118 are in implementation and 285 are candidates (up to seven priorities). Investments in the period 2026-2028 amount to 858.8 million BAM.

In the Republika Srpska, investments have been contracted, with secured financing, by ministries or institutions in the amount of 3.1 billion BAM until 2028.

As priority needs without secured sources of financing, considering up to 7 top priority projects, additional investments in the amount of 5.5 billion KM have been proposed, of which 3.1 billion KM are planned for the period 2026-2028.

An analysis of the sectoral structure of investments in implementation shows that the largest investments (93%) are in the energy, transport, health and agriculture sectors.
