In order to improve the quality of research and innovation in the Republic of Srpska, the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska sends a public call to scientists and innovators from all fields, born in the Republic of Srpska and who work abroad, to apply to the diaspora registre available on the Republic of Srpska and diaspora portal https://dijasporars.com/registar-dijaspore/, in order to connect scientists and innovators in the country and those from the diaspora.
The Ministry hopes for a successful cooperation of our scientists and innovators with scientists and innovators from the diaspora, because research and innovation are an irreplaceable condition and factor in the economic, cultural and general progress of any country.
We ask interested scientists and innovators to register in the Diaspora Registre so that the Ministry can form a database of scientists and innovators from the diaspora.
Note:
Diaspora, in accordance with the Strategic Plan for cooperation with the diaspora, is considered to be a part of the people originating from the Republic of Srpska, but permanently settled in one or more countries of the world. These are people who were born but do not live in the Republic of Srpska, and feel a sense of belonging and a great social and cultural connection to their motherland. This term certainly includes members of the second and third generation of emigrants, born abroad, whose parents emigrated from the territory of the Republic of Srpska, and they have a sense of belonging to the country of origin of their parents.
