The Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, Prof. Draga Mastilović PhD, visited the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in the Russian Federation today, where he met with Ala Blinova, Adviser to the Head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in the Russian Federation.
The meeting was focused on enhancing co-operation in the fields of science, technology and higher education, with particular emphasis on strengthening links between universities and research institutions, implementing joint projects, and facilitating exchanges of students and academic staff.
The Minister emphasised that co-operation with the Russian Federation is of strategic importance for the development of the scientific research and educational system of the Republic of Srpska.
"The Republic of Srpska is committed to strengthening international co-operation in the fields of science and higher education. The Russian Federation is an important partner for us, and meetings such as this provide an opportunity to further improve ties between our universities and research institutions, while also opening up new opportunities for our students and researchers," said Minister Mastilović.
He stressed that the Ministry would continue working to create conditions for more intensive co-operation, particularly in the areas of higher education, science and technology.
Blinova highlighted that the Representative Office provides full support to the institutions of the Republic of Srpska in establishing and developing co-operation with partners in Russia.
"There is significant interest among Russian universities and scientific institutions in co-operating with the Republic of Srpska. Our task is to serve as a bridge connecting institutions and enabling the implementation of concrete joint projects and co-operation programmes," Blinova stated.
