The conditions for studying at the University of Banja Luka are among the best in the region, and the Government of the Republic of Srpska is continuously working on improving the quality of education, said the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Srpska Željko Budimir.
Minister Budimir pointed out that the University of Banja Luka is constantly progressing on the world academic lists.
- Banja Luka University traditionally organizes the Open Doors Day and this activity has good results, since students explain to the graduates basic things about studying - said Minister Budimir in Banja Luka, where the University Open Doors Day was organized.
He expressed his satisfaction with the way they proudly show graduating students what it is like to study in Banja Luka, and said that investment in Universities in Banja Luka and Istočno Sarajevo will continue.
- Our students, when they enroll in other study cycles at the most prestigious universities in the world, show enviable results, which means that we are doing a good job at our public universities - said the minister.
The Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Radoslav Gajanin, emphasized that high school graduates from most of Srpska come to the Open Doors Day.
He added that the Student Parliament and the Student Union promote the University and study programmes as much as possible, and that the Banja Luka faculties offer numerous advantages.
- We made it possible to study practically free of charge at the University of Banja Luka and practically free student accommodation - reminded Gajanin, and pointed out that several new study programmes will be accredited this academic year.
The President of the Student Union of the Republic of Srpska, Andrej Ševa, said that about 2,000 high school graduates from all over Srpska came to Banja Luka for the Open Doors Day today.
- For the second year in a row, we are filling the university hall with young people and future students - said Ševa.
The organizers of "Students' Days" are the Student Parliament of the University of Banja Luka and the Union of Students of Srpska.
