The Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska Željko Budimir PhD and the Director of the Inspectorate of the Republic of Srpska Milovan Krčo, alongside with his associate, held a working meeting today where they discussed numerous issues in the field of higher education, such as the application and improvement of legal solutions, results of inspection supervision, and other planned activities for the following period.
At the meeting, the results of the work and the most significant activities of the republican inspection for education and sports for the past year were presented, as well as work plans for the current year. On this occasion, the representatives of the inspection authorities informed Minister Budimir about the various measures taken at higher education institutions, in order to eliminate even the smallest errors that may affect the performance and quality of teaching. The inspectors also pointed out that, in addition to regular inspection controls, a significant part of the capacity is directed to extraordinary controls at the request of other persons, and that the control authorities strive to respond to all requests put before them.
Minister Budimir expressed his satisfaction with the past cooperation with the Inspectorate of the Republic of Srpska and pointed out that the control authorities will always have the support of the relevant ministry and that the common goal of all competent institutions is the improvement of higher education in the Republic of Srpska as a key factor of national and cultural identity.
At the meeting, it was concluded that through joint cooperation, by analyzing the available information and identifying potential issues that need to be focused on, the institutions will continue to act in sync in the coming period, because investing in higher education is investing in the future of the Republic of Srpska.
