The Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska has issued the Call for financial support for joint project of scientific research community and the economy "Synergy". Under the call, up to ten joint projects of total value of 300,000 BAM will be co-financed.
The right to apply is granted to a consortium consisting of at least one scientific research organisation or higher education institution and of at least one business entity established in the Republic of Srpska with positive business performance. The consortium may comprise interdisciplinary teams and may not have more than three members.
In addition to the general and specific criteria, additional points will be awarded to project proposals that address a problem in one of the four proposed thematic areas identified in the Strategy for the Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska for the period 2023-2029, which are information and communication technologies, digitalisation of enterprises, Industry 4.0 and the green economy.
The goal of the public call is to enhance the attractiveness, capacity and impact of research and development on the overall development of the Republic of Srpska by establishing a more efficient system for managing science, innovation and technological development, as well as creating systematic support for increasing the number of innovations and introducing new technologies to support the development of the economy.
The financial support programme for joint projects between the scientific research community and the economy encourages cooperation between the scientific research and business sectors, the introduction of innovative business models, and the application of scientific research results.
The deadline for submitting applications is 12 October 2026. Documentation should be sent by post to the address of the Ministry (Trg Republike Srpske 1, 78000 Banja Luka) or submitted to the Central Registry Office of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
