The Sector for Higher Education officiates following administrative and professional tasks from the Ministry's jurisdiction: creating strategies (politics) in the field of higher education and student standard which includes collection and analysis of information (data) and making decisions based on that analysis, preparing laws and regulations in the field of higher education and student standard, officiating administrative tasks in the field of higher education and student standard, officiating middle-term and long-term strategic and finance planning in the field of higher education and student standard, creating plan of action with specific prioritized steps that will be taken in the process of higher education reform, carrying out the production and processing of statistical data and elaborating forecast of labour market requirements, establishing standards in the field of higher education, doing administrative surveillance over the legality of work of higher education institutions, establishing student standards and acts, preparing programmes of educational cooperation with countries in the region, setting goals and standards in the curriculum, informing the public about the activities of the Sector for Higher Education.
