Pursuant to the Law on Ministries, the Ministry for Labour and Veterans performs administrative and other professional duties stipulated by the law, which refer to the protection of veterans, army invalids, members of the families of the fallen soldiers and army invalids, protection of civilian victims of war, employment and workers’ rights except for the civil servants, protection at work, pension-invalid insurance, international convention, provision of information via media and other duties stipulated by the law.

Ministry’s pledge is to promote and improve the quality of living of the population whose issues are within Ministry’s jurisdiction.

Ministry’s program for the following year is the reflection of the obligations assumed in the previous period, as well as obligations from the adopted economic policy and the budget of the Government of the Republic of Srpska – Ministry for Labour and Veterans.
