​The Minister of Labour, War Veterans and Disabled Persons' Protection of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Danijel Egić, was born on February 19, 1972 in Prijedor, where he completed primary and secondary school.

At the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Banja Luka, he earned a degree in agricultural engineering.

During 2002 to 2011, he performed various jobs in the profession.

Since October 2012, employed at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska, while performing duties of the head of the Prijedor Regional Unit since 2014.

From 2021 until was elected as the Minister of Labour, War Veterans and Disabled Persons' Protection of the Republic of Srpska, he worked in the City Administration of Prijedor as the Head of the Department for Agriculture and Rural Development.

Minister Egić is participant of the Defense-Patriotic War and a war invalid.
