​​​Ministry for Labour and Veterans performs administrative and other professional duties which refer to:

•    Workers’ employment and their rights in all spheres of their work, except for the civil servants,
•    Wages and other proceeds from the employment,
•    Employment,
•    Protection at work,
•    Pension-invalid insurance,
•    Temporary employment abroad in coordination with the competent ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
•    Exercise of the employment right of the workers temporarily employed abroad, and  activities regarding their return and employment in the Republic of Srpska,
•    Veterans’ protection; protection of war and peacetime army invalids and members of the families of the fallen soldiers and deceased war and peacetime army invalids;
•    Protection of civilian war victims and civilian war invalids,
•    Protection of members of the families of persons serving compulsory army drill,
•    Maintenance of memorials and graves of the deceased combatants,
•    Provision of information via media about the work of the Ministry in accordance with the law and other regulations of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
