The National Assembly is the highest legislative authority of the Republic of Srpska. The Government of RS and the Ministry, being its integral part, are the executive authorities of the National Assembly. Mutual relations are regulated by the Constitution of the Republic of Srpska.
The representative of the Ministry is present at the sessions of the National Assembly without the right to vote.
The Ministry has the obligation to answer the questions of deputies as well as the explanations of the proposals that deal with domains for which it is competent. The Ministry is obliged to inform the Government and National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska about its work and to submit reports to them quarterly or even for a shorter period, if needed.
