The tasks within the purview of the Ministry are set forth by the Law on Republic Administration and performed in the following organizational units:
a) special organizational units – Office of the Minister and Secretariat of the Ministry,
b) basic organizational units – sectors and
c) internal organizational units – departments and divisions.
 
The following basic organizational units are established in the Ministry:
a) European Integration Sector and
b) Regional and Institutional Cooperation Sector.
 
The Office of the Minister and Secretariat of the Ministry are established in the Ministry as special organizational units.
 
Within the sectors and the Secretariat, departments and divisions are established as internal organizational units.
 
(1) At the Office of the Minister, tasks are performed directly by the executors recruited for the mandate of the Minister (Chief of Staff and advisors).
 
(2) At the Secretariat of the Ministry, tasks are performed directly by the executors and within the following internal organizational units:
a) Department of General and Legal Affairs,
b) Department of Financial and Accounting Affairs,
c) Field office-Mostar Office of the Republic of Srpska.

(3) At the European Integration Sector, tasks are performed directly by the executors and within the following internal organizational units:
a) Department of Integration Policy, Analytics and Reporting,
b) Department of Harmonization of Republic of Srpska Laws with EU Regulations,
c) Department of EU Funds and Development Assistance.
 
(4) At the Regional and Institutional Cooperation Sector, tasks are performed directly by the executors and within the following internal organizational units:
a) Department of Regional Cooperation and
b) Division of Institutional Cooperation.
