​Demographic challenges and Serbia's good practices in that area were the topics of the meeting of the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, with the Minister without portfolio in the Government of Serbia in charge of gender equality, prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women, Tatjana Macura.

Macura also met with Selma Čabrić, Minister of Youth, Family and Sports.

- We spoke about the measures taken by the Republic of Srpska and Serbia regarding demographic challenges and we defined to discuss and convey experiences to the general public on this topic in the coming period, through joint conferences that we will organize - said Klokić.

- These are population policy measures that have yielded positive results in recent years concerning this demographic challenge. Let me remind you that in 2007, Serbia had a fertility rate of 1.38, and that in 2022 the fertility rate rose to 1.63, which is an example of really good practice for Europe - stated Macura.
