A conference on Supporting Economic Reforms to Strengthen Private Sector Development in BiH was held jointly by the Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) at the seat of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
The conference was organized on the occasion of the presentation of the OECD report Assessing BiH Reform Agenda for Private Sector Development, which analyzes key reform measures aimed at improving the business environment and private sector development in BiH. The report was prepared within the European Union project for Private Sector Development in BiH (EU4PSD), which is supported by the European Union and implemented by the OECD and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
The conference presented key report findings, as well as recommendations for further improving public policies and strengthening access to finance for economic operators. The program also included a thematic session dedicated to expanding private capital markets and improving private sector financing in BiH.
The conference brought together representatives of institutions, international organizations and the private sector to exchange views on further reform steps in the field of economic development.
