Minister Željka Stojičić


Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska Željka Stojičić was born on November 21, 1959 in Mrkonjić Grad. She finished primary school and secondary school in Mrkonjić Grad, and earned a the title of graduate economist at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo in 1982.


In the general elections of 2014 and 2018, she was elected a deputy in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska, and in both mandates she served as the vice president of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska.

In the period from 2011 to 2014, she worked as an deputy minister in the Department for Budget and Public Finance in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Srpska, and in the period from 2008 to 2011, she worked as the head of the Department for Economy and Finance in the Municipality of Mrkonjić Grad.

 From 2004 to 2008, she was the head of the Finance Department in the Municipality of Mrkonjić Grad. In the period from 1984 to 2004, she was engaged in the Forestry "Lisina" Mrkonjić Grad in the area of financial affairs.

In the course of professional training, in 2000, she obtained a certified accountant's license, and in 2008, she obtained a certified appraiser's license. She passed the exam for an economic expert in 2015.

She is married and the mother of two children.
