Activities
Ministry of administration and public self-governance is in charge of the administrative and other professional duties related to:
• system and organization of public administration;
• system of public services; drafting of the laws and by-laws within the Ministry’s jurisdiction;
• salaries of the employees in the Republic administration;
• citizenships;
• personal status of citizens;
• administration inspections;
• administrative cases in the second-degree proceedings;
• drafting of submissions in courts and other proceedings; coordination of the public administration;
• administrative fees; correspondence for the needs of the republic administration bodies;
• political-territorial organization of the Republic;
• organization and improvement of the political-territorial and electoral system of the Republic;
• parliament system;
• political organizations;
• citizens’ associations; foundations;
• drafting of reports on the implementation of the politics of the local self-governance units for the previous year;
• implementation of laws and other regulations based on the reports made by the mayors;
• administrative monitoring of the bodies of the self-governance units;
• administrative-professional duties which provide planning, monitoring and implementation of the Ministry’s program;
• duties related to the European integration strategy and policy in the realm of the administration and self-governance;
• harmonization of regulations with the EU legislation in the field of administration and local self-governance
• other duties in accordance with the law.
