Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management is an independent administration body which carries out administrative and other duties in several administrative fields and which reports directly to the Government.

The work of the Ministry is stipulated by the Law on Ministries (Official Gazette of RS, No. 70/02, 33/04, 118/05 and 33/06).
