The Government of the Republic of Srpska adopted the
2021 Employment Action Plan of the Republic of Srpska during its 105th
session held on 21 January 2021 in Banja Luka.
The 2021 Employment Action Plan is harmonized with the
Economic Reform Program of the Republic of Srpska and with other relevant bodies
and institutions.
In 2021 the Government shall provide funds in the total
amount of BAM 12,188,000.00 for the employment of 2,882 persons and implementation
of active measures boosting employment. Those funds will be directed for implementation of the
Program for financing of employment and self-employment of children of fallen
soldiers, demobilized fighters and invalids of war, the Program for employment
and self-employment and the program to support the real sector through refunds of
taxes and contributions for new employment.
These and other measures and activities from the
Employment Action Plan shall be implemented by the competent bodies and
institutions defined by the Action Plan.
The Government also passed the Decision on reallocation
of funds unused from the 2020 Employment Action Plan in the total amount of BAM 1,680,000.00.
With the aim of full implementation of the 2020 Employment
Action Plan of the Republic of Srpska, the funds unused within the Component
III of the "Together to work", in the total amount of 1,680,000.00 will
be redirected to components I and II within the same Program, i.e. the Program of
support to employment of the interns with higher education and secondary
education and the Program of employment of target groups in the real sector.
In component I Self-employment of children of fallen
soldiers, funds in the amount of 88,000.00 BAM are redirected for
self-employment of 11 persons and in component II Self-employment of
demobilized soldiers and invalids of war, BAM 952,000.00 will be set for
self-employment of 136 persons.
Funds in the amount of 320,000.00 for employment of 48
persons are redirected to the Program of support for employment of young people
with higher education and secondary education, and component III in the amount
of 320,000.00 for employment of 80 people.
The Government accepted the Information on the
Vaccination Plan against COVID-19 in the Republic of Srpska.
The Public Health Institute of the Republic of Srpska
and other health institutions in the Republic of Srpska shall be in charge of implementation
of the Vaccination Plan against COVID-19 in the Republic of Srpska.
The Institute of Public Health of the Republic of
Srpska is obliged to regularly report to the Government of the Republic of
Srpska on the implementation of the Vaccination Plan against COVID-19 in the
Republic of Srpska.
Vaccination as the most effective specific measure to
prevent the occurrence and spread of infectious diseases represents a
significant measure in the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The
primary goal of vaccination against COVID-19 is to reduce the morbidity and
mortality caused by this disease and to influence the limitation of the spread
of the disease in order to preserve the functioning of the health system, the economy,
education and all other sectors of society.
The vaccination plan against COVID-19 in the Republic
of Srpska includes, among other things, planning and coordination of the
vaccination campaign against COVID-19 in the Republic of Srpska, priority groups for vaccination, human resources management required for the
vaccination campaign and training of staff, storage and distribution of
COVID-19 vaccines and cold chain preparation, vaccination monitoring,
collection, reporting and use of data from the supervision of COVID-19, etc.
At today's session, the Government of the Republic of Srpska
passed the Decree on users, conditions, ways and procedures of allocation of funds,
goods and services within the "Emergency Project COVID 19 for BiH"
(P173809) in the Republic of Srpska.
This Decree determines the beneficiaries, regulates
the conditions, methods and procedures for allocation of funds, goods and
services to the beneficiaries of the "Emergency Project COVID 19 for
BiH" (P173809) in the Republic of Srpska, monitoring the implementation
and other issues relevant to the Project.
Beneficiaries of financial and non-financial resources
(goods and services) of the Project are public health institutions in Republic
of Srpska, Public Institution Veterinary Institute "Dr Vaso Butozan",
Banja Luka, beneficiaries of social protection rights in Republic of Srpska, in
accordance with the Law governing social protection, social institutions for
accommodation, centers for social work, i.e. social protection services in Republic
of Srpska, media, business community and inspection services in the Republic of
Srpska and the general population in the Republic of Srpska.
Also, the Government of the Republic of Srpska passed the Decree amending the Decree on Occupational Standards.
At today's session, the Government adopted the
Information on the Project of Support to Sustainable Tourism Development in BiH
and adopted a conclusion on monitoring the implementation of the protocol from
the document "BiH - Guidelines and Protocols for Health Care against COVID-19", which allows the Republic of Srpska and BiH an international awarding
of destination that is safe for travel, the so-called "Safe Travels" label.
This label is awarded by the World Council for Tourism
and Travel, and by obtaining it, Republic of Srpska and BiH would be on the
list of 40 other countries that have this label, including Slovenia, Croatia
and Montenegro.
