The Government of the Republic of Srpska held today
its 104th session. The Government passed the Decree on the procedure
of allocation of funds to enterprises in the sector of road transportation of
persons for addressing the financial losses incurred due to the consequences of the coronavirus
pandemic.
The aim of enacting this Regulation is to provide
financial support in the period from August 1 to December 31, 2020 to maintain
the liquidity of those enterprises which had financial losses due to the
consequences of the corona virus pandemic.
The procedure for allocating funds is carried out by
the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Republic of Srpska.
Taxes and contributions will be paid for each full-time
employee or entrepreneur who is not a taxpayer on the account of employment or a pension
beneficiary in accordance with the regulations governing the area of
contributions and income tax for the period from August 1 to December 31,
2020.
The financial support determined by this Decree shall
be provided from the funds of the Compensation Fund of the Republic of Srpska.
The Government was acquainted with the Information on the
number of students enrolled in the first year of the first, the second and the third
cycle of studies in the 2020/21 academic year at higher education institutions
in the Republic of Srpska. According to that Information, there are 658 students more who are enrolled in public
higher education institutions in the Republic of Srpska compared to the
previous academic year. This is the result of implementation of the new Law on
Higher Education and the measures of the Government of the Republic of Srpska
which has enabled free education for all full-time students in this academic
year.
The Government of the Republic of Srpska accepted
today the Proposal of the Decision on the loan of the Republic of Srpska with the
World Bank - International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the
Project of Recovery and Support to Business Entities in the amount of
22,400,000 EUR.
The goal of the Project is to support liquidity and
recovery of business associations affected by the consequences of the COVID 19
pandemic, through a better approach to long-term financing as well as
adaptation to new, changed working conditions through digitalization and
adoption of new technologies.
The Government approved the Plan of allocation of funds
to the Ministry of Administration and Local Self-Government for the period of January
1 - December 31, 2020, to the humanitarian association "Kolo srpskih sestara"
in the amount of BAM 41,000.00.
The Government of Republic of Srpska passed a Decision
on approving the Plan of Allocation of funds to the Ministry of Administration
and Local Self-Government on the Spending Plan for the period January 1 - December
31, 2020, to the "Merhamet" charity associations in the Republic of Srpska in the amount of BAM 62,000.00.
The Government of the Republika Srpska has passed a
Decision approving the Spending Plan of the Ministry of Administration and Local
Self-Government for the period January 1 - December 31, 2020 for the work of
associations and organizations of Bosniak and Croat civilian victims of war in
the amount of BAM 50,500.00.
The Government of the Republic of Srpska passed a
Decision on issuing consent to the Spending Plan of the Republic Administration
of Civil Protection for the period of January through December 2020 in the
amount of BAM 300,000.00.
